I grew up in central Ohio, and after graduating from Cedarville University, married Phillip Kinney. We were married for more than 36 years, living in Connecticut and Maryland in addition to both southern and central Ohio where we raised our five children.
For many years, I was a stay-at-home-mom, often caring for additional children and doing various other jobs to help the family. I am an avid reader, but never dreamed I would ever write. However, shortly after my husband's death, I had some ideas for a series of books which were inspired by our shared love of history, including family history, and the stories that come from it.
I love spending time with my children, their spouses, and my grandchildren. My grandpuppies also love my visits. Now that they are scattered across the country, it gives me a chance to do a little traveling.
